A rainy morning, that stopped just in time for me to help unload a truck full of lumber at work.About every 3 monthds we get a truck load of lumber from Canada, and it usually takes 8 of us about 3 hours to unload it by hand.So I am well and truly beat now that I have arrived home from work. At least it is not raining.

There was a nice cool fog this morning,I guess it was kind of like San Francsisco, then it got muggy, but later turned to light rain.I had the urge to take a short nap in the afternoon, but when I woke up I felt worse.I did manage to get a shorty run in.Oh! by the way today is laundry day,but I have an indoor drier.

Hey have you noticed that here in America, when something is successful an almost exact copy will come out.I was in a store today after my run and noticed next to the froze-fruit was something called fruits-frozen in almost the same packaging, and Red bull next to Red Beast energy drinks.I say copy the idea but come up with an original name and packaging. It's just me .

It's Saturday, and after a short run this morning.I went for coffee and a muffin at Dunkin Donuts with my friend Utpal, who discovered that the guy serving us this morning is also named Utpal. They say that the temp' will get up to 92 today, which is not so bad.I just picked one of my poems at random.

There are not
enough hours
in the day

The minutes
just seem
to fly away

It's all work
and no play

I'll make
some time
for fun

Be happy.

What is there to say,it's summer time and there is tennis on the tv,the fragrance of the Linden trees is in the air.I walk to work in the mornings ( about 3 miles ) and it is really pleasant.I hope this keeps up for a while, but hot sticky days are probably on the way.

Well it's tuesday and the longest day of the year. The morning was still nice and cool but the afternoon is much warmer.I can still tell that I ran a marathon 2 days ago but my legs feel much better,I find that if I go for a jog it helps me recover much more quickly.

Well I was a little sore when I woke up this morning.I realized that I had some muscles in my legs that I had not used for a while. After working for a few hours and then going for a short jog everything seemed a bit better. The weather here in New York is still nice and cool, but that will change.
So besides running and my job which is in manufacturing.I also happen to write poetry and childrens books. At least I have independently published 6 poetry books and 2 childrens picture books with an illustrator friend of mine, we published them in eastern europe and hope someday to do the same in England and America.

Well it was a beautiful morning in New York.My Father's Day marathon started at 6am with overcast skies and a temp' of 62. there were 28 of us at the starting line.It was on a loop course with a short but quite steep hill on it.i finished in the midle of the pack with a time of 4:40:08 which is about as fast as I run these days,I used to be able to run a Marathon in 3hrs 9 mins some 25 years ago.Age and not enough training will catch up with you .So you can see that I like to run,and in the future you will get to find out more about it,so stay tuned.
