Well the wedding went really well ut I have managed to develope a cold,and I am not sure what will happen with regards to me running in the 12 hr race this weekend.We will just have to see how things go.

In just a few hours I will leave from New York for Europe,I have a 19 day trip ahead of me with lots of travelling,I am not sure how much I will be able to get internet access.Therefore I may not be able to post much on the blog,I will do my best and fill everybody in when I get back,Ciao for now.

My last day at work for 3 weeks,I am pretty much ready to go,just a few last minute things to do.Champions League started today With Chelsea winning and Liverpool drawing,also my beloved Wolves lost in the Championship but still remain 3rd in the table.I should be able to make 1 more post before I leave tomorrow.This photo is of my cousin Jelena who is the one who is getting married on saturday,which is the first part of my trip.

Today is an interesting day for me.Five years ago on september 11 I was on a plane flying from Vienna to New York,when we got within 3 hours of New York we were told we were returning to Vienna,and it wasn't until some hours later that we got to see why.I spent 4 more days in Vienna before returning to New York and it is an experience that will stay with me forever.In a few days I will once again be travelling to Europe.

A beautiful morning and my usual sunday run with Utpal,I think both of us have recovered well from our marathon exploits and I enjoyed the run very much.When I got home I was very happy to see that my beloved Wolves had won thier game against Leeds 1-0 and have now moved into 3rd place in the Championship.Mick Mc Carthy seems to have got them off to a good start this season.

The US Open Tennis tournament is going on just a few miles away from me but you would not know it.If I decided to go for a run out there I could be there in less than a 1/2 hour.The weather is very beautiful at the moment and I am sure the tennis fans appreciate it.This weekend is when I plan to start packing my things for my trip to Europe,I have a nice suite that my brother in law gave to me some time ago,and it fits well.

Everybody around me is getting some kind of end of summer flu.Since I will be going out of town in a few days I am hoping it will not capture me.When I went out of town in March I carried a bad cough with me for 3 weeks,we will see what happens.

More Euro 2008 qualifiers,England won a tough one in Macedonia 1-0,Scotland won 2-1 in Lithuania,and Germany walked 13-0 over San Marino.Other than that it was a pretty quiet day.

My sister is off on her hol's for a week,I hopeshe has a nice time.The rain has returned here in New York after a short hiatus.We have a new guy at work and I have to check that he is getting on ok,he seems to be doing alright.

It's Labor day here in the US but I had to go into work for a few hours,one of the things I had to do was feed the cat.It was a beautiful day,and when I went for my run I felt as though I was running comfortably fro the first time after running the marathon.

So I went for my sunday run with Utpal,and after all the rain we have had it was a nice dry partly sunny morning.Since we both ran a marathon last week ( he beat me by 18 minutes ) it was an easy run .Oh by the way it was the Faroes that Scotland put 6 past yesterday,I was folloeing the Serbia v Azerbaijan game at the time I posted.Serbia won 1-0 by the way...

What a day we have had strong winds all day with some rain,the winds are as high as 50 mph ( 87 kph ).There was also some whirlwind play in the Euro 2008 qualifiers with England putting 5 goals past Andorra ans Scotland 6 past Azerbijan a good start to their group qualifers.They have tougher games to come.

The first day of September but it feels more like November,and of course we have Tropical storm Ernesto coming our way,so even more rain.Things are quiet for me right now and I am looking forward to a restful weekend.
