Short day at work but got a lot done,the temp almost hit 70f today.Ran in the afternoon but I am still feeling something in my lungs,though I think it is getting better and should improve quickly if the weather stays warm.This is a trian I encountered on one of my runs in Croatia. 

Well I'm back at work and I managed to last for a full day.The weather is in the 60's and it looks like it might stay that way for a while.This is not a two headed ostrich but a father and son I met in Bosnia.

So I got up this morning at 5:30 while a thunder storm raged outside,then off to the airport 45 minutes later.Everything went well with my flight to Vienna and on to New York,where I am now writing this post.The weather here is really nice,and I am glad to be back,but I had a great trip,now I just have to catch up on my sleep.

So I went walking in the mountains today although it was a bit rainy,the air was really nice.This is my last full day in Slovenia,but I have one more meeting with some friends this evening,then an early start tomorrow.

Well apart from the fact that I am still pretty tired from the time change,it is a fairly un- eventful day.I will be going to a small town called Ptjuj later to meet with some friends and then back to Ljubljana.The weather here is very spring like with lots of flowers poking there heads above ground.

I forgot to mention that I ran in a 2 mile race yesterday,it was really quite slow,I think that my breathing is not so good after my bout of flu,but it is nice to run.I am now in Ljubljana on the last leg of this journey and actually ran another 2 mile race this morning.I was invited to lunch by a friends mother and very nice it was too.I have a few more things to do on this trip before I leave for New York,if I have the chance I will let you know at the time or when I get back to NY.Oh yes the colcks went forward here this morning.

I am really enjoying my time in Maribor,but yesterday I went to a place called Celje where I talked to some people about running and meditation a small group that seemed quite interested in what I had to say.

I am now in the northern part of Slovenia,in a place called Maribor,it is quite well known for skiing.I have a few friends here and I am meeting and talking with some people about running and meditation which are two things that I do.I will be going to a few places in Slovenia to do the same thing there.I still have the remnants of my cough but I am feeling much better.

I spent the weekend in northern Bosnia at a resort near a lake.Then back to Zagreb,where I have been for the last couple of days.Tomorrow I leave for Slovenia on the last leg of this trip before I return to New York,it will not be long now.

Woke this morning to falling snow,it looked like it might be a lot.The temperature rose during the day and everything is slushy and wet.This is my last full day in Sarajevo,I have enjoyed me stay here.

Once again I have to say that I am really enjoying my time here in Sarajevo.There are so many things going on in this region at the moment,but have this chance to refresh in a quiet setting and with some really nice people.

We had some snow overnight,but it was followed by a really nice day.Sarajevo is a nice city and I am having a good stay here.It is just about 2 weeks since I started my journey and I have done a lot of things,but there are a lot more to come.

Boy I am travelling all over the place ( which may be why my cough is stll around ).Any way I was driven this morning to Sarajevo,where I am sitting in the apartment of a friend writing this post.There is quite a lot of snow in Bosnia at this time,but it is really nice to be here,more later.

And so I journey on, I am now in Banja Luka ,Bosnia.There is a decent amount of snow on the ground.i have become quite used to the travelling now and border crossing.

So after 1 nice day we had 2 days of rain,but I got to spend some quality time with my cousins in Rijeka.Then after a rainy and snowy bus ride I made it to Karlovac and some more cousins.A beautiful day followed which included a nice run in the village where my cousins live.More to come.

So it has been a while and I have not been able to connect with my wifi card.I am now at my cousins in Rijeka Croatia.I left Slovenia on saturday for Zagreb and yesterday I came by bus to Rijeka,which at the coast.Everything is going well but I still have my anoying cough,which despite all my efforts does not want to leave me.I think it is enjoying the ride.I will try to keep everyone updated as often as possible.Bye for now.

OK I am in Slovenia and coughing like crazy but I am having a great time,everyone is tolerating my condition.Too late for me to post yesterday.That is it for now.

So I am not completely cured but feel a lot better,I think partly because it is just getting to the end of it.I still have the occasional coughing fit ( which will unsettle a few people on the plane ).I am just a few hours away from a flight to europe.I will be doing quite a bit of travelling over the next few weeks,so my posts may not be quite so regular,internet connections permitting,but I will try to let you know what is going on with me as much as possible.
