The sports nutrition book for vegetarians I bought online came today, a little faster than I expected. I took a quick look at the introduction and went out for a run. I think it is going to be very useful. After the cold days we have had recently it was quite warm today, with the temperature reaching 60 F ( 14 C) not bad for November.

Oh dear, I can't run two blocks without collapsing... how does one train though? when you have no lung capacity whatsoever?
And no I have never smoked... just no breath ever. Ghah.

I don't get that many comments so sorry for not answering before.
You just have to run those 2 blocks nice and easy a couple of times a week and your lung capacity will increase. You just have to take it easy.
